Nestled in the heart of Abbeyleix, County Laois, our bakery occupies the historic building that once served as the town’s bank. Today, instead of financial dough, we’re crafting some of Ireland’s finest sourdough and fresh yeast breads.
Our menu features 11 distinct types of bread, including seven varieties of sourdough, alongside a rotating selection of irresistible pastries. These pastries change with the seasons, using the freshest fruits and inspired by our bakers’ creativity. And yes, our cruffins are an absolute must-try!
We take pride in using the highest quality local ingredients for our breads and pastries. As a proud member of Laois Taste, we also offer a curated selection of products from exceptional local producers across the county.
In addition to our breads and pastries, we are passionate about supporting the local community and showcasing the best of what County Laois has to offer. You’ll find a range of artisanal goods in our shop, from handcrafted jams and cheeses to local honey and freshly ground coffee, all carefully chosen to complement our baked creations.
